Bonded cats Dragon and Moira find a new Dad and new life

Andrew has a real heart for rescuing animals. After his beloved cat passed away, his friend who volunteers at the Ontario SPCA and Humane Society let him know about two cats needing their forever home.

Although they came from different litters, each cat faced their own setback. Dragon is blind in both eyes and Moira is timid and skittish, but the two bonded in our care and learned to help each other out. When animals are bonded together, the Ontario SPCA does everything in our power to make sure those animals are adopted together into the same home. Thankfully, that’s exactly what happened here!

“It’s magical and it really teaches you life is great,” says Andrew.

Sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways bringing people and animals together when they most need it. At the Ontario SPCA, it is our joy to be a part of that story.
