Quin, foal born in the Ontario SPCA’s care, is ready to find his forever home!

Remember Quin, the handsome colt born in our care? This little cutie is growing up and is now ready to be adopted!
In March 2017, a grade Quarter Horse-type mare, now named Dee, came into the care of the Ontario SPCA through an investigation. After a veterinary examination, we discovered she was in foal!
When her foal was born, we asked you to help us name him. Horse enthusiasts from across Ontario submitted their favourite names. After much deliberation, McKee-Pownall Equine Services, the veterinarians caring for mom and baby, made their pick. The winning name they chose was Algonquin – Quin for short.
Quinn is now 10 months old, and looking for a home to call his own. He was gelded in December and is fully recovered, and has all his vaccines. He is learning to lead and will stand for grooming.
This sooty buckskin boy is very curious and gets along well with his friends. Quin is ready to start having new adventures with a new family – could it be yours?
If you’re interested in adopting Quin, please call 705-645-6225 or email jmccamus@ospca.on.ca.
The Ontario SPCA and Humane Society also has other horses looking for loving homes. Trot on over to our website for more information : http://ontariospca.ca/horses
